South Seattle Arts Festival

Tonight is the closing night of the South Seattle Arts Festival, produced and presented by Broadway Bound. The South Seattle Arts Festival was created by Broadway Bound to provide small non-profit organizations and artists with a venue to share their vision and their voice without cost to them or to their audiences. In doing so, the community is given greater access and exposure to the arts in its many diverse forms. The first week of the Festival closes tonight with a performance by the Northwest Tap Connection. Next week, the premiere of the new musical GOD LIVES IN GLASS, performed by a talented group of 28 teens and a 16-piece orchestra pulled almost entirely from the heralded Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra.
Some of the highlights of our Festival included:
Jazz Night, August 10th, featuring the Clarence Robinson, Jr Group and the South Seattle Youth Community Orchestra

Global Heat, August 11th, featuring Orbitron

DASSdance, August 12th in a performance of Nevermore

African Night, August 13th
