Marta Whiteaker

Marta Whiteaker has 15 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology industries.  Currently, at Microsoft she is responsible for driving the development and implementation of the product strategy in the telecommunications industry.  Before coming to Microsoft, Marta spent 10 years working at American Management Systems in business development and project management roles consulting with telecommunications companies in the U.S. and Europe.  While at American Management Systems , Marta was responsible for the successful growth of the company's practice in Switzerland where she oversaw the deployment of new lines of business for mobile and fixed wire operators.  During her time in Switzerland, Marta also worked in the international group at Swisscom to help expand their operations into Italy, Austria and France.

Upon her return to the U.S., Marta worked as a Director for a high-growth software company responsible for increasing the value-added services business at major telecom providers in North America.  Marta holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA in International Business from the University of Colorado.
