Lauren Selig
Lauren Selig currently serves in the role of Director of Development at Martin Selig Real Estate, one of the largest privately held Seattle commercial real estate companies. While in this capacity, she has helped manage and develop a portfolio of more than 4 million square feet of office space as well as private family investments, and philanthropic efforts.
Lauren Selig is also the creative woman behind Lala Laptop, a line of high end women’s laptop bags that gives its profits to charity. She is also the founder and writer of Little Lala, a selection of children’s books, children’s iphone applications, and a savvy review website www.lalatravels.com.
Prior to her current roles, Lauren found herself enjoying a wide variety of jobs, working at Microsoft in Platforms Business Development, practicing international licensing for music company Playnetworks, as a writer for Variety and in a development role at Dreamworks in Los Angeles.
Lauren holds a B.S. in International relations from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service as well as a JD-MBA in technology management from the University of Washington. She is a writer, a mom, and is active in the Seattle community serving on the boards of the Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences and The Seattle Theatre Group.
