Deborah Hartwell, Resident Costume Designer/Administrative Associate
Originally born in Seattle, Deborah Hartwell is the owner of Pink Trunk Designs. A passion for designing and creating was sparked when she discovered an antique steamer trunk filled with fancy fabrics, trims, buttons, jewelry, hats and gloves in the basement of an old house that her family moved into when she was young. For the last 20 years she has followed her dreams and designed everything from costumes to couture for clients worldwide, which includes projects for theatre, ballet, Walt Disney Company, NBC, Universal Studios, MTV, short films and two recent feature films.
Her favorite projects to work on are musicals and she has enjoyed designing God Lives in Glass, Hairspray, Willy Wonka, Fiddler on the Roof, Jr. and 13 the Musical with the Broadway Bound team and actors.
