Teen Programs

Teens at Broadway Bound!

Teen Casting Opportunities this fall for our production of Annie. There will also be a show with acting opportunities for teenagers this spring, title to be announced.

In Summer 2012, our CIT program will be expanded into a comprehensive arts and leadership program for students aged 14 through 19. This program will be available to a maximum of 12 students, who will volunteer as classroom assistants for Summer Camps in exchange for advanced classes from Broadway and regional musical theatre professionals, and leadership and teaching artist training from our staff and faculty here at Broadway Bound. Applications will be available in December of 2011, and will be due by March 31, 2012. Please call Beth Raas-Bergquist at 206-526-5437 for more information.

In addition to casting teens in our older casts of our productions, we have offered several additional opportunities over the past few years for teens. These have included:

In the Summer of 2010 we brought back our highly regarded Teen Summer Stock production, which was a fully produced premiere of an original musical, GOD LIVES IN GLASS, that reached across cultural and religious boundaries to promote global unity, acceptance of diversity, and connection with the spirituality within us and in the world around us.

In January of 2010 Broadway Bound joined forces with the acclaimed Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra to present A BROADWAY SYMPHONIC SPECTACULAR, which featured nine singers ages 15-21 in a musical program backed by a 100-piece orchestra on the stage of the historic Moore Theatre.
